Winter is Here

While it may not technically be winter yet, for all intents and purposes it is that now for the sports gaming genre. Outside of Steep, which will be out in early December, we're entering the darkest period of every year for sports games with the next major release not expected until the end of March with MLB The Show 17. Despite that there's always news and developments to react to and some of those are tackled in the latest episode of the Press Row Podcast. Bryan Wiedey and Rich Grisham discuss the recently released snowboarding game Infinite Air, the selection of Ken Griffey Jr. for the cover of MLB 17, story modes driving the success of NBA 2K and now FIFA 17, troubled post-release support with NBA 2K17, and the impending release of the NES Classic Edition. That's followed by a segment dedicated to the NHL-licensed PC game Franchise Hockey Manager 3. On the show this week: Bryan Wiedey, Pastapadre/Sporting News/Hit The Pass (@pastapadre) Rich Grisham, Out of the Park Developments and Hit The Pass (@richgrisham)
