Vaughan Williams' setting of one of George Herbert's Five Mystical Songs: performed by a soloist at my church

This is the thir of the Five Mystical Songs, and is either known as the Call or Come, My Way, My Truth, My Life. I love all of these, especially when performed with full orchestra and an excellent baritone like Thomas Allen or John Shirley-Quirk. I was so happy that the bass soloist at my church decided to sing this a couple weeks ago. I didn't get around to uploading it until now. Here are the words: Come, my Way, my Truth, my Life: Such a Way as gives us breath: Such a Truth as ends all strife: Such a Life as killeth death. Come, My Light, my Feast, my Strength: Such a Light as shows a feast: Such a Feast as mends in length: Such a Strength as makes his guest. Come, my Joy, my Love, my Heart: Such a Joy as none can move: Such a Love as none can part: Such a Heart as joys in love. #church #GeorgeHerbert #music #mystical #MysticalSongs #poetry #VaughanWilliams
