During the fiscal Q4 2016 earnings call on November 15, 2016, John Croteau, MACOM's president and CEO, discussed the company's strategy to commercialize GaN on Si. MACOM completed qualification of the Gen 4 process and received two production orders for 1.8 and 3.5 GHz base station platforms.
