Isaac Regional Council handed down it's budget last week and it was stead-as-she-goes with a 1% increase in rates. 4MK's Perko spoke with Mayor Ann Baker about the challenges of moving forward in the mining downturn. They also talked about the benefits of record rainfall in the region and her plan to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft to raise money for local hospitals
