(Part One) Assembly speaker Robin Newton linked to Charter NI #BBCNolan

The Nolan show has uncovered evidence which shows Charter NI named Robin Newton as their advisor on 7 May this year. The significance of this was because he became Speaker shortly afterwards, and then last month blocked a question on the very organisation he was helping. So, questions this morning for the DUP MLA and Assembly speaker Robin Newton over his links to Charter NI and the social investment fund. The Nolan Show has seen a facebook post in which Charter NI claim Mr Newton was an advisor in May of this year. Earlier this month Mr Newton was asked for an urgent oral question about the social investment fund and this was rejected by his office. He has now said he will remove himself from future decisions on questions regarding SIF and Charter NI. But why did he not do that when he was asked the first time around?
