Commercial Fisherman leave consultations frustrated

Commercial Fisherman in Bundaberg met with representatives from the State Government's fisheries department to discuss the closure of scallop fishing areas (SRA's)

Commercial Fisherman and Treasurer of the Queensland Seafood Association Board Kevin Rival has attended all three consultation meetings in Tin Can Bay, Hervey Bay and in Bundaberg yesterday. He spoke to 4BU and told journalist Zoe McLaughlin it would be a huge blow for the whole industry.
