A dad of three's told Capital that Nottinghamshire County Council is tearing their family apart by not allowing his children to go to the same school.

David Hedley wants the council to bring back the right for siblings who live out of a school catchment area to join their brothers or sisters at the same school.

A petition put together by a group of parents called Fairness 4 Siblings is being given to councillors at a County Council meeting later.

The Council says high priority is given to children living in catchment and who have a brother or sister attending the school.
