JUSTICE FOR JEAN CAMPAIGN GATHERS PACE AS MP BACKS IT

The Justice for Jean campaign has been bolstered as a local MP's given it his backing. Richard Arkless is helping Michael Porter take on the Greek authorities. His mum Jean Hanlon was found dead in the sea off Crete in 2009 - it was ruled she'd drowned but a second post mortem showed she'd died before she hit the water. The case into Jean's death is now re-opened and Mr Arkless has managed to set up a meeting between her son and the new prosecutor over in Greece. The family are also campaigning for changes to the way victims of crime and their families are dealt with while abroad.
