Army steps up patrols to control armed attacks and Road ambushes

More soldiers and the police will be seen patrolling highways and major roads as the army scales up its efforts to thwart possible road ambushes and armed attacks.
The move is the latest in a series of measures announced by the army spokesperson, Brigadier Lul Ruai to fortify South Sudan’s major highways against the escalating threat.
He spoke to our reporter, Alex Agole and began by explaining how the security situation has eased.
