The last hour of the Blitz begins with Fred and AJ discussing the College Football Playoff rankings for the best college football teams so far, as well as the Big 10. Then Fred and AJ continue telling the listeners the stories that they did not get to finish saying on the last hour in their usual segment of the, ‘Gem of the Day.’ The show then transitions to Fred and AJ talking about how Tom Herman clears up some rumors about him lying to his former Houston Cougars’ players that he was not going to take the head coaching position at the University of Texas.
