Following the deaths of Julie Walker, 37, and Lucas Walker, 6, at Aberdeen beach on the 20th August 2016, Northsound's charity Cash For Kids approached a number of businesses to try and help their family cope with the immediate problems their loss would bring.

One of the issues that needed addressing was to build bedrooms for brothers Samuel and Jordan Walker who were to move in with their grandmother - as the house had three bedrooms with six people living in it.

Home builders CALA Homes offered to create an extension with two extra bedrooms free of charge - so we spoke to their MD Mike Naysmith when the job was finished.
