A South Sudanese Youth activist is calling for the creation of Peer to Peer HIV support groups, on World Aids Day.

Peer to Peer support has already gained ground in Maridi, where the HIV prevalence rates have reportedly seen a spike.

Peter Garang Ngor, the peer, the coordinator Students peer project in Maridi, said he was "shocked... there is currently several misconceptions surrounding HIV Aids.

"As i speak there are some Youths who are saying , that there is nothing like HIV aids, this is just a trick to stop youths from having sweet sex..."

He turned up at the Radio Miraya studio's for a discussion with Sebit William, on why Peer to Peer support matters.
