Goodyear Wolverhampton announce £1m staff fund will go to Compton Hospice when it shuts this month

A hospice in the Black Country is getting nearly a million pounds from union members at Goodyear.

The Wolverhampton site is closing its doors at the end of this month - so a fund set up to help staff in need of extra cash will be wound down.

Members voted for the money to go to Compton House in the city.
