Heart's been told some homeless people in Birmingham won't accept help when it's offered.

Karl Price - who now works at the charity CGL - lived on the streets for 4 years.

He works with recovering addicts and says, although many prefer to be homeless, charities like theirs can't give up on them.

It's after Birmingham City Council announced plans to cut the budget for the homeless and victims of domestic abuse by £10 million.
