Charter NI row continues – why is Executive giving public funds to organisation which PSNI confirms “continues to be associated with paramilitarism”?

Chief Constable George Hamilton was at Stormont yesterday on the back of our big story last Friday, when ACC Stephen Martin said people connected to Charter NI have been engaged in recent paramilitary activity.

He met with First Minister Arlene Foster, Health Minister Michelle O'Neill (representing deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness) and Justice Minister Claire Sugden because they wanted to "seek clarification" on ACC Martin's comments to this show.
