During the second hour of The Joel Blank Show they recap the Houston Texans game against the Indianapolis Colts before transitioning to QB Brock Osweiler and how the passing game remains to be a problem for the Texans, which was also the only problem against the Colts. They switch topics to Johnny Football hanging out with Lamar Jackson and Joel believes Johnny is better than Brock Osweiler. Barry and Joel believe the Dallas Cowboys should not have a QB competition just because Dak Presscott lost one game and he’s the reason they’re here. Joel and Barry switch topics to the Houston Rockets and discuss their defense and how good Trevor Ariza and Patrick Beverley have been since they don’t have to be counted on to score a lot. They also talk about the Rockets offense and Joel believes they still need a low post scorer to score down in the paint come playoff time.
