Margate Wastewater Pumping Station - Bathing Water Quality Overview (Full)

In 2016, 12 of Thanet’s 13 designated beaches received a water quality classification of ‘sufficient’ or above meaning that they are safe for us to swim in. We will continue to work with Southern Water and our partners at Thanet District Council to prevent pollution incidents and continue to improve water quality at our local beaches.
