Christmas Message for South Sudan by Mustapha Soumare, Ag Head of UNMISS

The Acting Special Representative of the Secretary General and Head of the UN Mission in South Sudan, Mustafa Soumare, has delivered his Christmas message, in which he advised the citizens to focus on the values that unite the nation.

Mr. Mustapha Soumare acknowledged that while the fighting has slowed the implementation of the peace agreement, people of South Sudan should not lose hope.

He pledged the commitment of #UNMISS to support South Sudan in its commitment to renew its commitment to the peace process, and help address the country's pressing Humanitarian needs.
