An ad aired in the early days of Radio Luxembourg. 'Luxy' was an early taste of commercial radio for UK listeners. And the station had full brand integration too, not just spot ads: witness The Ovaltineys and some great Quaker Oats shows too. This is a spot though, and an impressive one. Sounds made-up. It wasn't. It was the way things really were in those 'Mother in the kitchen' days of 1935.
