AYRSHIRE WOMAN FINDS OUT SHES BEEN GIVEN MBE

I called Jeanette Henderson from Ayr to ask for an interview after she appeared on the Queen's 2017 Honours List and I ended up being the one breaking the news to her.
Jeanette was sent a letter from the Prime Minister but misread it.
The 67 year old has been a nurse since she was 16 working in every discipline and extensively in mental health.
She was given an MBE for services to health care.
