E.I.A. makes 1st Utah appearance in over three years

The first case of Equine Infectious Anemia in Utah has been discovered since 2013 - and a 14-year-old bay gelding in Wasatch County was euthanized as a result. Officials, who are hopeful the disease was isolated to the one animal, say the horse was frequently transported to Mexico and may have contracted E.I.A. in that country.
