Luciana Berger, MP for Wavertree and former Shadow Minister for Mental Health, joined Mick Coyle for the first Mental Health Monday.
It comes as Theresa May outlines new plans by the Government to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health - including more training and support in schools and workplaces.
Berger says 2017 should be the year where we all open up about our problems.
