Senior Citizens utilizing Social Media to battle isolation, loneliness

Noting that technology costs may keep some from doing it, A.A.R.P. state director Alan Ormsby says that senior citizens in Utah nevertheless are embracing the internet and social networking sites that allow them to stay in touch. According to one recent Pew Research study, over 70 percent of those between 50-and-64 years of age are on Facebook while over 60 percent of those above 65 are also using that particular site.
