UK Ambassador responds to claims of ‘regime change’

UK Ambassador to South Sudan, Tim Morris has clarified on reports that the TROIKA group of countries is looking to renegotiate the peace agreement.

Sections of the media reported last week that the United Kingdom and Norway were spearheading plans to reactivate the peace process with a main agenda of bringing back Riek Machar as a key partner in the peace talks.

Speaking exclusively to Radio Miraya this morning, Ambassador Morris dispelled these reports and stressed the commitment of the UK and other international partners to ushering peace to South Sudan.
