A campaign to counter hate speech has been extended to refugee camps in northern Uganda.

A group of Youths from the Community Development Center, a local NGO is circulating the social media code of conduct, translated into simple Arabic to inform refugees on acceptable practices while communicating on social media.

The group has also composed a song with support from the community development center, pushing for a peaceful village, free of hate.

Ladule Christopher, event director of the Peace village says they are targeting youth in refugee camps to protect future generations.
