New Head of UNMISS meets Foreign Minister Deng Alor

The new UN Special Representative to South Sudan (SRSG), Mr. David Shearer has met with Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Deng Alor.

The two held a closed-door meeting in Juba and later addressed the media.

SRSG Shearer said he is “looking forward to working with the government,” while Mr Alor said they would “work together to stop the violence in the country.”
