Churchill Tank project involving pupils from Downshire School

School children, community groups, volunteers and special guests were invited to an event in Downshire School, Carrickergus. The occasion was to mark the culmination of a three year project put together by Major Retired Rey Kirk which has seen restoration of Churchill MKV11 Tank.
It has also widened the knowledge and understanding of Northern Ireland's engineering support in the Second World War. Andy Astbury takes up the story.
