Former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson recounts the day (Election Day, November 6, 1990) he touched the badger on the head of "Wisconsin," the statue atop the Wisconsin Capitol. Thompson was featured speaker at the 100th Anniversary State Capitol Kick-off celebration.
