The Know

They're a music magazine split between Bristol UK and Portland US. The idea came about when they travelled over the Atlantic and spent a week in Portland. It was a voyage fuelled by record shops, meeting strangers and drinking next level beer. The journey also brought out striking parallels between the two places. As well as a few Elliott Smith albums, they returned with minds bulging full of new knowledge and felt this needed to be shared. Despite being a new magazine they've already managed to bag interviews with big names such as Johnny Marr, Metronomy and Super Furry Animals.

They're launching in print capacity in June with a live event in the city. Reporter Laura Abernathy conducted a 1 on 1 interview with the co-founder, Rhys Buchanan.
