Utah DWR declares temporary ban on shed antler gathering

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has declared a temporary ban on the gathering of shed antlers from deer, elk or moose in 11 of the state's 29 counties. The emergency closure order is meant to protect animals threatened by severe winter weather. It lasts until April 1, 2017.
