The DUP have called for a statute of limitations in bringing prosecutions against members of the armed forces who served during the Troubles. Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has raised concerns about the focus of the PSNI's legacy branch investigations. However, police figures given to the BBC, show that only around 30% of the investigations being carried out by the police group tasked with investigating Troubles killings focus on the police.
