TV's 'Blind Date' set for comeback – nostalgia or no new ideas?

It looks like the original TV dating show Blind Date is set for a comeback. Its understood that the show will be shown on channel 5 later this year. Apparently the show is expected to make a 'young and sexy' return. Is it something you would watch or has Blind Date had its day? Is there no such thing as an original idea anymore??
