Hundreds flee hunger in South Sudan's Kediba Region

More than 11 – thousand people have recently abandoned Mundri East County, fleeing hunger and drought which hit the region, denying the hungry residents food to feed themselves.

Many have reportedly fled to Loi in Mundri. Amadi region’s Information Minister Victor Maburuk Clement, said famine in the region has been made worse by lack of rains, a situation that undermined this farming season.

In this interview with Radio Miraya reporter in Yambio, Francis Felix Katie, the information Minister describes how big of a problem hunger driven displacement has become.
