Aberdeenshire League Winners: Chris Baird

Huntly made history on Monday with their first GPH Aberdeenshire League title. The under 20s side went unbeaten in their last six games and with reigning champions Formartine United being held to a 1-1 draw at Keith, the black and gold’s would go on to seal the title with an impressive five-nil win over Banks O’ Dee at Christie Park. After seeing his side lose out in the title race to Formartine last season, Huntly coach Chris Baird was delighted to help the club to their first piece of silverware since 2007.
