The Education Minister insists the government is committed to making life even better for gay and lesbian people in the UK.

It's despite concerns from LGBT campaigners in Birmingham that attitudes manifesting themselves after we leave the EU may give rise to more homophobic attacks.

Figures from West Midlands Police say more than 800 reports were made in 2015 and 2016.

But Justine Greening - says they're working hard to challenged negative attitudes early.
