Gift of life – local man whose search for the family of organ donor who saved his life inspires book

Vinny was joined by some special guests to shine a light on the issue of organ donation.Ciaran Campbell had a kidney transplant when he was young which saved his life. He managed to track down the family of the donor as he wanted to say thank-you to them. His story inspired a novel written by his cousin, the author Emma Heatherington. The book is called The Legacy of Lucy Harte, and they joined Vinny in studio this morning.
