The Utah Department of Transportation met with Garfield County businesses and Bryce Canyon National Park staff on Friday to discuss the landslide that's impacted state highway 12 near Mossy Cave. The slide undercut the road, making one lane unsafe for travel. Business leaders fear the artery that brings tourists into communities like Tropic, Boulder and Escalante will be cut.
