Capital's been told students in big cities like #Nottingham are going to get a lower standard of education after today's budget

Nottingham city councillor, @cllrsamwebster, says government plans to put £320 million into new free and grammar schools will leave many pupils left behind.

There are concerns that the money not going to schools in disadvantaged areas will be redirected.

The city council is currently consulting parents about a funding cut to education of around £22 million pounds.
