IOM Condemns Attack on Humanitarian Convoy in South Sudan

The Director General of the United Nations International Organisation for Migaration - IOM, William Lacy Swing, has condemned an attack on a humanitarian convoy, which resulted in the death of two people and left three others injured.

The incident on Tuesday happened as IOM staff, health workers and civilians, travelled on a lifesaving humanitarian mission in Yirol East County.

Ashley McLaughlin, IOM’s communications officer, spoke to Lwak Nelson about this particular incident.
