Top To Bottom: Confident Koeman, Mindful Mazzarri and Dithering David

Hosts Neil Atkinson and John Gibbons are joined by David Downie from The Blue Room website and podcast.

In an extended chat about both of the cities Premier League teams, we first look at Everton's impressive form in 2017, how they continue to dismiss those below them in the league and the goal scoring form, as well as recent comments, of Romalu Lukaku.

However the next test for this Everton side is beating the teams above them in the table. Can this developing side now banish previous insecurities and really turn up away at one of the top six? Next up is Liverpool at Anfield....

Liverpool have no problems playing well against the top teams, and they got a good point at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon. We analyse an exhilarating game of football and what it says about the strengths and weaknesses of both sides.

On the phone we are joined firstly by Bradley Hayden from Watford FC Blog. A poor run of form has got The Hornets looking nervously over their shoulder and contemplating a relegation battle that they maybe aren't mentally prepared for. Should Watford follow the lead of many of the teams behind them and look to change their manager before it is too late?

Finally we are joined by Stephen Goldsmith from Sunderland podcast Wise Men Say. Sunderland have been here before, but it looks like The Black Cats might finally have run out of lives and on their way down. We speak to Stephen about the lack of plan and strange decisions of manager David Moyes.
