Scots urged to give blood this festive season

Scots are being urged to make time during the festive season to do something that can potentially save a life.

The Scottish Blood Transfusion Service has launched it's Christmas Appeal to encourage more of us to donate in the run-up to the big day.

Fiona Christie had to get around 30 litres of blood after she had difficulties giving birth to her daughter.
