Army releases six MSF staff detained in January

Médecins Sans Frontières or Doctors Without Borders has confirmed the release of four of its staff who were detained by SPLA soldiers in Yei.

In a press statement Brice de le Vingne, MSF Director of Operations said the staff were released last Friday after being in detention since January.

Mr. Vingne reaffirmed the organizations commitment to continuing its life-saving work in South Sudan, where hundreds of thousands of people depend on emergency humanitarian assistance for their survival.
