What's so wrong with him wanting to walk the dog alone?

Charles wants to walk the dog alone; he’s been doing it for years now but his recently his wife has wanted to join. He claims she nags him on the way he walks the dog and it’s ruining his morning. Molly say’s it’s the one time in the morning they have to catch up and she wants to be there. Who’s side are you on?
