The mother of all bombs. US blasts IS with a huge mega bomb. Were they right to use it?

What's been described as the 'mother of all bombs' has been dropped on an IS stronghold in Afghanistan. The device was dropped by the US military on a network of caves and tunnels in the east of the country. It killed 36 militants and destroyed their base.
