'Yahweh' pronounced as the scholars intended.

Some scholars from about the 1800s have theorized that the Divine Name יהוה (YHWH) should have these vowels according to this pointing: יַהְוֶה which underlies the belief that "Yahweh" is the pronunciation of יהוה (YHWH). That theory is not without its problems, but that is another issue. This recording simply demonstrates that the scholars' יַהְוֶה is pronounced quite differently to the popular churchman's pronunciation of Yahweh. The scholar's pronunciation of יַהְוֶה has a real, pronounced 'h', and a long, accented, constant final -e instead of the '-ay' sound of the popular pronunciation.
