Just over six weeks until the General Election and talk of pacts is still dominating the campaign here. The Irish News front page headline today says pact talks between remain parties are going to intensify. In an article for today's Belfast Telegraph, DUP leader Arlene Foster says only her party can win the South Belfast seat for unionism. The Ulster Unionist Party meanwhile has said it will not be running candidates in North Belfast, West Belfast and Foyle. So are pacts inevitable - and are they good or bad for politics here? Do they restrict choice? Or are they just reflecting political realities?
