When the punishment is not going to prom how harsh does the crime have to be?

Honda of Westport Couples Court: Their daughter snuck out of the house as was brought home by the cops for underage drinking. Dad thinks they should take away her Junior Prom as her punishment but mom thinks that’s too harsh of a punishment. What do you think?
