A breast surgeon has been found guilty at Nottingham Crown Court of carrying out unnecessary operations after exaggerating the risk of cancer to his patients.
The jury heard 59 year old Ian Paterson - who worked at hospitals in Birmingham - advised the surgery for obscure motives - possibly to boost his earnings.
