UNOCHA conducts humanitarian assessment mission in Aburoc

“Civilians in Aburoc remain deeply fearful about the situation and they are incredibly concerned that they may be caught up in conflict.”
The United Nations Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) visited Aburoc in Upper Nile, on an assessment mission following recent fighting.
The team led by Deputy Head of UN OCHA, Gemma Connell is reporting that civilians taking refuge in Aburoc are living in fear due to the ongoing fighting in Upper Nile.
Connell told Radio Miraya's Sebit William that the civilians in Aburoc remain deeply fearful about the situation there.
