The Story of My Second Sight

Imagine how it would feel to one day wake up and find your vision descending into darkness. Your fingertips are becoming numb, and as the World closes in - you realise there is nothing you can do to stop it.

This is what happened to Vannessa Potter, who went from a high flying career as a producer, to being completely blind, unable to walk, and with her sense and touch completely gone.

Going blind led Vanessa to turn science sleuth, keeping detailed audio-diaries and reinventing herself as Patient H 69, to uncover the reality behind her unique experience.

Her remarkable story has now been adapted into a book.
